4-H Camp awards financial scholarships to campers of Franklin & St. Lawrence Counties. The 2023 camp fee for a one-week session is $482, and the Cloverbud/Cloverleaf Camp fee is $209 for the three-day session.  While we do everything possible to keep these rates low, the rising costs of operating a facility and program like 4-H Camp Overlook continue to climb.  The resulting rates create a hardship for some, which is only alleviated by our annual 4-H Camp Scholarship Fund.  These scholarships are available to all youth in Franklin and St. Lawrence County with financial need, and help local children have an amazing summer experience that otherwise would not be available to them!

Over 91 youth received scholarships in 2022 and participated in a wide variety of educational and recreational activities offered at camp. They developed important life skills and leadership qualities, increased their self-confidence, and made lifelong friendships! (and had FUN!)

If you are interested in applying for a financial scholarship, and are a resident of Franklin or St. Lawrence county, please fill out an scholarship application.  Scholarship applications are due April 15th. The application for scholarships are within the registration on UltraCamp.

Cornell Cooperative Extension of St. Lawrence County also has two additional scholarship opportunities. The Reggie Chester Memorial Scholarship and the Bert Rogers Memorial Scholarship.  These applications are open to anyone who resides in St. Lawrence County of New York.
