We gather at 4-H Camp Overlook in Mountain View, NY, conducting all our efforts on unceded territory belonging to the Mohawk Nation of the Haudensaunee people. We acknowledge the painful history of indigenous genocide and forced removal from this territory and we honor and respect the many diverse indigenous people still connected to this land on which we gather. We are reminded by our presence on Mohawk Nation land that we have the duty to live in harmony with one another and with all that has been created. We are deeply grateful to the families and communities who have and will continue to care for this beautiful place.
