Cloverbud

Cloverbud Session at Camp Overlook

The Cloverbud session is designed specifically for campers ages 6 to 8 years old.  It’s a 3-day, 2-night session — the perfect length of time to let children feel like they’re really away at camp, but without giving them time to get homesick. (It’s also a nice length of time for parents whose children are away from home for the first time).

The Cloverbud session includes age-appropriate activities, and past activities include;

  • Arts & crafts Class
  • Carnival Games
  • Teddy Bear Parade
  • Beach Fun & Free Swim
  • Evening Campfires
  • A fire safety talk and visit with local firemen
  • A visit by a local farmer & her sheep
  • Learning about our chickens
  • Parachute and games
  • Plenty more fun!

If you’d like to enroll your child, grandchild, neighborhood child, etc. in the Cloverbud, click on Online Registration to fill out a camper application form, and make sure to choose the Cloverbud session.

Cloverbud fills fast every year, so register early to claim a spot!

Cloverbud Session 1: 6/29/23 – 7/1/23
Cloverbud Session 2: 8/6/23 – 8/8/23

Our SECOND session of Cloverbud camp run concurrently the Sunday-Tuesday of Traditional Week 6. Cloverbudders will still take their own classes, will stay in their own bunk, and have their own evening program.  They will join the wider camp community during meals. If you have any questions regarding the difference in Cloverbud sessions, please call our office at 518.483.4769 or email at campoverlook@cornell.edu.
