4-H Camp awards financial scholarships to campers of Franklin & St. Lawrence Counties. The 2022 camp fee for a one-week session is $449, and the Cloverbud Camp fee is $195 for the three-day session. While we do everything possible to keep these rates low, the rising costs of operating a facility and program like 4-H Camp Overlook continue to climb. The resulting rates create a hardship for some, which is only alleviated by our annual 4-H Camp Scholarship Fund. These scholarships are available to all youth in Franklin and St. Lawrence County with financial need, and help local children have an amazing summer experience that otherwise would not be available to them!
Over 92 youth received scholarships in 2019 and participated in a wide variety of educational and recreational activities offered at camp. They developed important life skills and leadership qualities, increased their self-confidence, and made lifelong friendships! (and had FUN!)
If you are interested in applying for a financial scholarship, and are a resident of Franklin or St. Lawrence county, please fill out an scholarship application. Scholarship applications are due April 1st. Click here to fill out a scholarship form: 2022 Scholarship Form for Tuition Assistance
Cornell Cooperative Extension of St. Lawrence County also has two additional scholarship opportunities. The Reggie Chester Memorial Scholarship and the Bert Rogers Memorial Scholarship. These applications are open to anyone who resides in St. Lawrence County of New York.
