The safety of our campers and staff is always utmost in our deliberations. We have been in regular contact with the State Police and the Franklin County Sheriff. At this time they suggest no interruptions to future programming. Therefore, after careful consideration, we at 4-H Camp Overlook have decided to go ahead with our staff training this Sunday. During camp we have a night security guard, who is a former corrections officer, patrolling camp grounds. The police have done, and continue to do, routine sweeps of camp without cause or incident. At this time we are confident that we are abreast with the situation and will continue to keep in contact with authorities.  If anything changes in the days or weeks ahead, we will be contacting parents.
